These terms govern use of the Teachers.guide add-in for Microsoft Word. They apply in addition to the main Teachers.guide Terms and Conditions and Add-in Privacy Policy. Where they conflict, these add-in terms apply to the add-in only.
Teachers.guide grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the add-in for the purpose of teaching and school administration, for as long as you hold an active Teachers.guide account. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or redistribute the add-in.
An active Teachers.guide school or teacher account is required. Staff sign in with a school access code, or with a one-off connect token generated from the add-in page. The add-in does not create accounts.
Each module run inside the add-in consumes credits from your individual or school pool, exactly as it would inside the main app. The add-in itself is free.
Outputs are AI-generated and may contain errors. You remain the professional decision-maker: review, edit and check every output before using it with pupils, parents or in formal records. Teachers.guide gives no warranty that outputs are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
The add-in is provided on an "as available" basis. We may update, suspend or withdraw features, and may revoke a connect token at any time for misuse or security reasons.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability arising from use of the add-in is limited as set out in the main Teachers.guide Terms and Conditions.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
